Foreword
Dear Readers,
We are delighted to deliver the 97thissue of bilig to you.
Having begun our publication life in 1996, it is our 25th anniversary this year, and we are so close to reaching the milestone of our 100th issue. Becoming a scientific refereed journal in 1999 and being indexed in SSCI since 2008 are the most important turning points in our journey of 25 years. bilig has come to these days by following the developments in the field of scientific periodical publishing and by constantly raising the level in the author-editor-referee processes. And now, as of this issue, we have updated ourstyle guidelines in accordance with the MLA system. This regulation was required for the convenience of the authors and to prevent the citation loss of the published articles.
The 100th issue of bilig is to be published on January 2022. The editorship of this special issue has been undertaken by H.E. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kalın, the Presidential Spokesperson, who is a member of the Board of Trustees of our university, and who is also a world-renowned and respected intellectual. The special issue editorship of Mr. Kalın will raise the prestige and quality of bilig even to higher levels. Hereby, we express our gratitude to him.
Being published regularly for 25 years bilig aims to bring original scientific studies that shed light on the stories of Turkic peoples scattered across different parts of Eurasia in the world civilization to the.
We expect pioneering, well-known and distinguished academicians such as yourselves to contribute to this prestige and jubilee issue with innovative, original and high impact articles.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those that contributed to our 97th issue, particularly to our authors and referees, and we hope that the ideas published in the journal will find a response in the academic community.
